The Property
Finca Matriz sits within a landscape of ancient pines and dry-stone arches, far from the noise. The estate has been restored in 2025 and continues to honour its Valencian heritage while welcoming guests and gatherings of all kinds: intimate or grand, quiet or celebratory.
The property spans over two hectares of Mediterranean forest, a terrace overlooking the gardens, and a private pine forest — all framed by the warm stone of the original farmhouse.

The residential wing comfortably sleeps 14 guests across 7 en-suite rooms — each with its own private bathroom, sitting area with TV, and high-quality king or queen box-spring bed dressed in fine linens.
Each room is individually designed and lit, with its own character and outlook. Some open directly onto private terraces — ideal for morning coffee or a glass of local wine at dusk. Every window frames a deliberate view: the dramatic silhouette of Montgó, the lush garden canopy, or the pool shimmering in the courtyard below. Privacy and connection, in equal measure.
The rental includes all 7 en-suite bedrooms, the fully equipped indoor kitchen, the communal living area, courtyard, pool, tennis court, terrace, south garden, and private parking. The property is self-catering — no staff or chef are included in the base rate.
Jávea sits almost exactly midway between Alicante and Valencia airports — approximately 90 minutes from each. Both are well-served by international flights year-round, making it one of the most accessible locations on the Costa Blanca for guests arriving from across Europe.
The finca is surrounded by ancient native Mediterranean pine trees — rare in this region — which provide natural shade even during the hottest summer days. The vast garden is threaded with terraces, fruit trees and quiet corners. Squirrels pass through the branches, birdsong fills the mornings, and evenings close with pink sunsets over the hills of Montgó Natural Park. At night, the skies are clear enough for genuine stargazing.
Ideally so. Jávea sits at the foot of Montgó National Park with exceptional road and mountain cycling on the doorstep. The finca has secure covered storage for bikes, lots of areas for bike work, private gated parking, and flexible twin/king room configurations for the whole team.
Very much. Children will enjoy the vast garden. The pool has a shaded daybed area, but cannot be covered so children must be monitored. There is also a washing machine on site.
The town and beaches of Jávea are a short drive away. Montgó Natural Park is right next door — ideal for hiking, cycling and wildlife. Local markets, restaurants and the historic old town are all within easy reach.
The pool is 10m × 4m, set within the central courtyard of the U-shaped house. It is surrounded by the residential rooms, has a shaded daybed area; it is designed for a seamless indoor-outdoor feel.

The entire estate can be closed with gates for full privacy. This makes it especially popular for cycling teams, corporate groups, and families who want the property to themselves.
Jávea's beaches — Arenal, Granadella, La Grava — are a short drive away. The historic old town is worth an afternoon. Sailing, snorkelling, diving and kayaking are all available on the water. For gastronomy, the local markets and traditional restaurants are excellent. And for those who want to push further: Valencia and Alicante are both under two hours away.
